Abstract

Material and methods. We examined 92 children with chronic glomuronephritis (CGN) aged 7-14. The microcirculation of the bulbar conjunctiva was studied during conventional treatment of the disease.Results. CGN in children with various types of clinical course in 91.7% is accompanied by disorders of microcirculation of the bulbar conjunctiva (MBC) (vascular, intravascular, perivascular, vasoconstriction, slowing of blood flow velocity, their tortuosity, changes in conjunctival and vascular indices), which are most pronounced in children with a long and severe course of the disease. After the treatment, microhemodynamic disorders in children with chronic hepatitis persisted.Conclusion. Conventional therapy of CGN in children does not lead to complete normalization of microcirculatory disorders of the bulbar conjunctiva, which dictates the need of novel ways to correct the disturbances of MBC in children with CGN
